for planning your wedding stationery
When should we send our stationery?
There are a few different factors that come in to your timescales for sending your invitations.
Are you getting married locally or abroad?
Are you getting married on a weekend or a weekday?
These will have an impact on how much notice you need to give your guests but the general rule would be between 3-6 months before the wedding day. This gives your guests plenty of time RSVP and make any necessary arrangements such as time off work, travel arrangements and childcare.
